We are a rapidly expanding media agency from Norway thats opened a base in Goa. Kodework will be our first footprint in India followed by many more. We are currently seeking a full-time, on-site WordPress programmer to join our team of friendly nerds. You should be energetic, wildly talented, an upbeat individual with outstanding organizational skills and a strong desire to maintain our high standards of customer service.

Qualifications:
WordPress core contributor, plugin or theme authoring experience required
3-5 Years Minimum experience in a web development field
Advanced experience with WordPress, PHP, JavaScript, JQuery, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, XML, and doing things “the WordPress way”
Must be familiar with using SVN and GIT for project version control
WordPress VIP hosted websites experience a plus
Ability to work on and prioritize multiple tasks at any given time
A four year degree in a related field is preferred, but experience and intelligence are a good substitute
Detail-oriented and highly organized
Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule

Essential job functions

Design, maintain and build plugin integration for existing WordPress blog and website.
Develop and manage mobile websites
Ability to test, debug, deploy applications in development and production-class environments.
Work with creative design teams to turn designs into a working reality
Keep abreast of WordPress enhancements and updates
Maintain website and network security principles and best practices.
Work within budgetary constraints and have the discretion to simplify when necessary
Other related duties and responsibilities as assigned

Knowledge of current web trends and resources
Strong understanding of Design Patterns, UI/UX design
Ability to work in a fast paced, flexible project environment
Ability to work under pressure and to exacting standards and deadlines
Strong planning, organizational and problem solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent documentation skills
Experience working with Photoshop a plus
Knowledge Piwiki, Joomla or Drupal
